Acting Supreme Court of Appeal Justices sworn in

President Lazarus Chakwera has challenged acting judges of Supreme Court of Appeal to uphold rule of law and advance public good

Chakwera made these remarks during the swearing in of the three justices namely Justice Rachel Sikwese, Justice Fiona Mwale and Justice Texious Masoamphambe

The president says has appointed the acting justices to preside over a case which other judges have recused themselves to avoid their emotional conflict of interest from compromising its integrity

Chakwera asked the new judges to guard their heart and take every narrative they hear with a pinch of salt because most people will tell them one sided story

He encouraged the new judges to be courageous inspite the threats and dangers they face personally for doing the right thing for Malawi
