Government delays funding

Ministry of Finance Economic and Development has revealed that had delayed in providing funds to all Ministries in the month of October due to technical problems.

Making his statement during a press briefing on the matter Secretary of Treasury Ronald Mangani said the challenges have been resolved.

Mangani said the Ministry discovered last week that there was such a problem.

“The Ministry is assuring the general public that government has adequate resources to implement the budget as approved and will continue to fund all Ministries as expected,” Mangani said.

Mangani added every effort has been made to avoid the recurrence of the technical problems encountering in all months.
