Islamic Zakaat Fund Reviews Strategy

Islamic Zakaat Fund IZF says is in the process of reviewing its strategy in a bid to maintain excellence and reach out to the community in a better way.

IZF secondary school bursary officer Khalid Chilima in an interview with Radio Islam, said the review will help to improve on the failures and learn from the successes as the organization continue with its mandate.

According to Chilima the evaluation will also help to improve performance of its students thus ensuring that all of them are securing places in government universities.

However Chilima said the organization is not getting a satisfactory response towards its friends of IZF initiative which aims at calling for support from well-wishers.

He said applications for assistance that the organization is receiving are too many as compared to the funds hence continuing with the appeal for support.
