Makalanga Bridge Opens

Makalanga Bridge in Machinjiri Township has been opened for road users

Speaking during the opening ceremony mayor of Blantyre city Wild Ndipo, says motorists and passengers were facing problems since cyclone Freddy damaged the bridge.

According to Ndipo the 960 million kwacha bridge has been partially opened as construction works have now reached 80%

Managing director of DEC construction which was constructing the road, Dan Tchale, has assured people of Machinjiri that the wok will be completed by the end of this month.
