MANEB launches online candidates registration, examinations payment

Malawi National Examinations Board MANEB has launched online system for registration of candidates and payment of examination.

Speaking during the launch, Dorothy Nampota, MANEB executive director urged parents and schools to ensure that all candidates register online as MANEB has stopped using the previous system.

“The online registration and payment system is being implemented by Ministry of education with support from World Bank,” Nampota

Meanwhile, Ministry of Education science and Technology says school feeding program will continue despite the ban of sale of cooked food in primary and secondary schools to prevent cholera

Deputy Director for School Health, Nutrition and HIV AIDS Maureen Maguza Tembo says “authorities must ensure that communities which help in preparing porridge are oriented on Standard Operating Procedures.”

Maguza Tembo added that head teachers should ensure communities are following health standards to protect learners from cholera which has affected 22 districts
