UTM, DPP Presidents register for 2025 Elections

President of Democratic Progressive Party DPP professor Peter Mutharika has registered to vote in 2025 general elections at Goliati in Thyolo District.

President of UTM Dr Dalitso Kabambe also registered in his home village in Thyolo district.

Mutharika made a brief stop at Bangwe Township in Blantyre, where he addressed party supporters while en route to his home in Thyolo.

Kabambe  was elected new UTM President on Sunday 17th November 2024 after defeating three others namely Dr Patricia Kaliati, Newton Kambala and Dr Mathews Mtumbuka.

Kabambe got 636 votes while Kaliati 21, Kambala 26 and Mtumbuka 22.
