“Our stand is that government can take back its monthly allowance of K2, 500 but can never take what belongs to them,” stressed the chiefs.

In his remarks group village headman Nanthoka said they have agreed to petition government on the matter in 2 weeks time.

Chief Nanthoka said that “government should reverse the decision saying what it has started doing may lead to violence. I also urge other concerned chiefs to hold hands and challenge government on its decision.”
