Government Warns Students Vandalizing Schools

Ministry of education, science and technology has warned students who vandalized Blantyre and Thyolo secondary schools that they will face the law.

Speaking during a press briefing William Susuwele Banda said the vandalism will negatively affect efforts to address problems students face because government will be renovating the destroyed property.

He said his ministry will investigate the cause of the vandalism and asked the students to report to authorities when they are facing problems in their schools.

Susuwele Banda urged parents to advise their children when sending them to school to avoid such acts.

President Professor Peter Mutharika also condemned the vandalism during the launch of Blantyre-Mulanje Water Project.
