BCC to introduce law against buying in streets
Blantyre City Council BCC says is working to formulate laws to forbid buying from the streets.
BCC Public Relations Officer Anthony Kasunda said this in Blantyre when the council organized a tour for the media to see for themselves where the council stores merchandise confiscated from vendors.
“Currently the absence of the law is promoting the tendency of buying from the streets,” Kasunda said
The journalists have seen different items such as second hand shoes, plastic containers, bags and a few perishables.
