Darul Sunnah Foundation donates food items to survivors of cyclones

Darul Sunnah foundation has donated food items to 1600 households who were affected by cyclones in Mangochi district

The foundation donated the items which they bought with financial assistance from United Arab Emirates

Speaking during the event at Kwiyiputi Primary school in Namwera Minister of Energy Hon. Ibrahim Matola who was the guest of honour commended Darul Sunnah foundation for rendering assistance to the needy people

“Darul Sunnah foundation has helped government in its effort to rescue victims of disasters especially cyclone from the challenges they are facing,” Matola

In his remarks Board Secretary for Darul Sunnah Foundation Sheikh Hussein Mussa said the initiative came after seeing that a lot of people had been affected by cyclones and lost their properties.

One of the beneficiaries Habiba Fazili said the assistance is timely since Ramadhan is around the corner.

Fazili urged Darul Sunnah Foundation to assist other victims of cyclones in the country.
