MAM pleads for unity among Islamic organizations for development

Muslim Association of Malawi has pleaded for unity and proper coordination among Islamic organizations for the enhancement of development

MAM’s chairperson for board of trustees’ Sheikh Allie Kennedy said this during the graduation of the Hafiz at Umar Bin Khataab institute

Kennedy said many Islamic organisations implement projects on their own which result into duplication of efforts.

He has however said MAM will support organisations that are ready to work with the association and have good intentions of uplifting Muslims welfare.

On the 20 hafiz who have just graduated, Sheikh Kennedy said “we expect the graduates to spread the massage of Islam.”

Commenting on the development sheikh Ubudeen Yahiya, director of education at Albaraka Charity Trust applauded Umar Bin Khataab institute for producing 94 hafsi in the country.

In his remarks Principle of the school Muhammad Attia asked the students to be exemplary to the community.
