DFID dissatisfied with Malawian organisations’ performance

Department for International Development DFID which is one of the major donors of government and nongovernmental organizations in Malawi has disclosed its dissatisfaction with the performance of local organizations.

DFID revealed the development yesterday when it was inspecting some projects being carried out by Karonga debate club at Wovwe in Karonga.

“Our projects have improved living standards of people in remote areas as compared to those being carried out by local organizations,” boasted DFID Advisor on governance Adams Mkandawire.

The club gets its financial support from DFID through Tilitonse.
