Interfaith Forum for Peace, justice and Dialogue has petitioned presidential taskforce on COVID-19
The petition calls all stakeholders to deliberate the situation of the pandemic so that Malawians should have one agenda.
Speaking during the presentation spokesperson of the interfaith forum Timothy Nyasulu said COVID-19 is a common enemy hence the citizenry ought to dialogue in order to find a united approach to save the country.
Therefore the grouping suggests that an all inclusive national stakeholder’s consultative meeting could give opportunity to the presidential task force to gather relevant but divergent views to deal with the pandemic.
Responding Dr John Phuka co-chairperson of presidential task force on covid-19 said “we will discuss the petition and agree on how to handle the suggestion.”
