Islamic Information Bureau to open Mzuzu, Ndirande bureaus January

Islamic Information Bureau IIB says it plans to open Mzuzu and Ndirande bureaus in January 2021.

In an interview with Radio Islam as the year comes to an end, Limbe IIB coordinator sheikh Ahmad Chienda said the year has been fruitful in as far as information dissemination is concerned.

Sheikh Chienda cited distribution of 500 plus Qur’ans since the on-set of the read the Qur’an campaign, dissemination of information as well as Islamic literatures through online platforms and reopening of Mangochi IIB.

On the reopening of Mzuzu bureau, sheikh Chienda said “this is due to public outcry following its closure and to also ensure that Islamic messages reach all regions of the country.”

Islamic Information Bureau (IIB) is a non-profit organisation that was established in the year 1999 by Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) after realising that there is a great demand and interest in understanding and acquiring knowledge about Islam by both Muslims and non-Muslims.
