Karonga Youths form group against political violence

After being used for wrong political reasons, 25 youths around Mwenilondo in Karonga Central Constituency have formed a grouping that will be used to fight against political violence during campaign period.

The group’s leader Austin Phiri said time has come for the youth in the area to be industrious by saying no political violence.

Phiri said the political instability during campaign earned them the name Benghazi that has in adversely dented reputation of Mwenilondo and that of Karonga Central Constituency thereby scaring away potential investors.
