Malawi Police arrests suspect in Zainab Mbowani’s murder
Police in Blantyre are keeping in custody Goodson Namadidi nicknamed Gude aged 22 for an offence of murder which is contrary to section 209 of the penal code
According to public relations officer for Blantyre police station Peter Mchiza on 30th November 2021 police at Chilomoni received a report that Miss Zainabu Mbowani aged 21 had been brutally murdered by unknown criminal in her house at Michiru forest and some house properties including a laptop and home theatre were stolen
“Blantyre police CID officers instituted an investigation into the matter which has successfully led to the arrest of Namadidi,” Mchiza
Meanwhile, enquiries are still underway to recover the stolen properties
Goodson Namididi is from Suya village Traditional Authority Machinjiri in Blantyre district
