MAM asks Muslims to observe Covid-19 preventive measures during eidul adhuha

Muslim Association of Malawi has asked Muslims in the country to follow prevention measures of Covid-19 pandemic during eidul adhuha prayers.

The appeal has been made ahead of the prayers to be held this coming Friday.

In an interview,MAM Publicist Sheikh Dinala Chabulika emphasized the need to observe social distance and putting on face masks as some measures required to be followed during the prayers.

According to Sheikh Chabulika,eidul adhuha prayers are sunna hence can be observed at home.

“I urge all Muslims in the country that will be distributing meat to put in place proper mechanisms that will protect others from contracting the virus.”
