MERA trims down fuel price

Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority MERA has reduced fuel prices.
MERA has announced that the reduction is with effect from today January 11 2015.
According to its statement MERA says the reduction is due to gaining of power of the Malawi Kwacha and the decrease of fuel prices in the world.
MERA has reduced the prices as some activists including John Kapito of Consumers Association of Malawi have been asking the Authority to do so.
