Islamic authorities have been asked to uplift Islamic and secular studies by constructing more Islamic institutes and secondary schools.

The request was made by Mussah Line head teacher for Malukula primary school in Mangochi during a gathering organised by Malindi radio Islam listeners aimed at informing the communities ABOUT the duties of the grouping.

Line said the area has managed to increase school enrollment of pupils and reduce early pregnancies as well as dropout rate.
