The renowned Muslim Zain Bhika performs in Malawi

The renowned Muslim artist Zain Bhika has advised Muslim artists in the country not to take Nasheed production as a career.
Bhika said this in Blantyre soon after performing at Robbins Park.
Bhika who arrived in the country on January 22 through chileka international said was impressed with the performance of some Muslim artists in Malawi.
“I am happy with the support and hospitality I have received from Malawians,” Bhika said
Some of the participants at the show expressed satisfaction with how the artist performed.
“Seeing him perform was the greatest thing because this is the first time an international Muslim artist has performed in this country,” they said.
They have therefore appealed to organizers to continue organizing such functions.
However the participants said were disappointed with how the show ended.
Responding to their concerns one of the organizers of the function Bashir Amin said they tried as much as possible to control the situation but to no avail.
“We promise to look into them so as to avoid a repetition of the same in the near future,” emphasised Bashir.
On the issue of inviting more international Muslim artists to perform in the country Amin said considering the response from Muslims they will consider the idea.
Zain Bhika shows were organized with the support of Classic Events and Islamic Relief Malawi aimed at fundraising money for Muslim Award.
