Islamic Activities donate to Muslim vendors

Three months after fire gutted Lilongwe market Islamic Activities in Malawi has donated over three hundred thousand kwacha to its members who were affected.

Speaking after presenting the money chairperson of Islamic Activities Mustapha Kaunde said they had decided to make the donation because Islam encourages helping others.

“The organization realizes that government alone cannot manage to assist vendors who were affected,” said Kaunde.

Speaking on behalf of the vendors who received the money Sam jika commended Islamic Activities for the donation.

“The donation will help boost our businesses,” Jika said.

Islamic Activities is a Whatsup Islamic grouping.
