Malawi hosts Wealth Woman Summit

Minister of basic and secondary education has asked attendees of a Wealth Woman Summit to create opportunities that foster women’s financial independence and leadership

Madalitso Kambawuwa Wilima said the summit provided a platform for women to demonstrate their ability to lead and innovate in various sectors

Wilima encouraged attendees to share experiences in order to break barriers and achieve their goals

She told the participants that there is need to empower women through education and entrepreneurship

The education minister said the wealth woman summit showcases the incredible potential of women to drive change and contribute meaningfully to society

In her remarks Chief executive officer of Wealth Magazine Harry Chima urged business community to invest in women led initiatives because empowering women is key to economic growth and innovation
