Ngokwe people threaten unspecified action against council’s poor planning projects

People from Senior Chief Ngokwe in Machinga have threatened to take unspecified action against the district council’s poor planning of developmental projects

A grouping calling itself the concerned Citizens of Senior Chief Ngokwe is demanding a review of Kamwaza Bridge project saying it will benefit few people comparing to other bridges in the area.

In the letters dated 10^th January and 04^th February 2023 addressed to Director of Planning and Development and copied to Machinga District Commissioner are demanding the suspension of Kamwaza Bridge Project instead use the funds to construct Mkakwawira, Nkauja and Maleta bridges as they are some of the projects which have suffered due to lack of funding
