Tonse government to deliver promises-Chakwera

President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has said his government will deliver the promises he made during campaign

Speaking during his weekly covid 19 briefing in Lilongwe, Dr Chakwera said his administration will never give in to despair and negativity

He said the country is facing economic problems brought by among others covid 19 pandemic and loans that were left by previous government.

However speaking in an interview with Radio Islam, political analyst Sharif Kaisi said “it is good that the president has acknowledged the delay in fullfilment of the campaign promises.”

He said the president should put in place measures to ensure that public money is not misused as was the case with the 6.2 billion kwacha covid-19 funds.
